Julie Goo and Cormac Lally met at the All Ireland Poetry Slam final in Kilkenny in 2014. The two hit it off and pursued a torrid poetry affair, meeting in darkened bars, basements and festival tents to bring their spoken word to the world. In 2017 they formed GooLally Productions and their first performance poetry showcase Me, Myself and Ireland was born. These two unique spoken word artists take a scalpel to Ireland past, present and future. Their show is one of ugly truths, beautiful poetry, hilarious laughs, touching realism and utter nonsense.

Cormac Lally is a Tullamore man living in Skibbereen. He is both a Leinster and Munster Slam Champion, founder of The Scene Of The Rhyme and Under The Hammers in Connollys of Leap, and earns a crust writing epic recitations for best man, brides and grooms through www.bespokeweddingspeeches.com

Julie Goo is a Cork born poet and twice Munster slam champion, activist and all round legend. Her poetry weaves heartache, hilarity and home truths in both English and Irish.
